Anika Noni has a career as a vocalist and actress in the US. Most famously, she is known for voicing Tiana Disney's first princess of African descent as Tiana Disney's first African-American princess in The Princess and the Frog. Disney named her a Legend in the year 2011. Rose is most well-known for her part as Lorrell, Robinson in Dreamgirls. Her most well-known role is as Tiana, Disney's first African American princess, in The Princess and the Frog (2009). She was designated an official Disney Legend in 2011. Also, she has a prominent part, playing Lorrell Robinson, in Dreamgirls (2006) that was nominated for an Academy Award. And she plays LaVerne jukebox Ganner on Starz's series Power. She has also been recognized by her stage performances which include her lead roles as Caroline or Change Caroline or Change (2004) on Broadway in which the Tony Award was won for Best actress in a Musical.

Pivarnick became famous for her role in the winning cast of reality M.T.V. show Jersey Shore in 2010 for only a handful of episodes during season one and season two. She was on several reality TV programs following Jersey Shore, such as Couples Therapy and Jersey Shore Family Vacation. Angelina Pivarnick isn't only a reality show host, she is also a singer as well as rap and has also released some hits songs.
